Message Why would anyone be an asshole to some guy that you are about to hand the keys of your Z over to?? You said you like to throw money the guy's way upfront. I figured an conversation would likely be inevitable in that situation, in which case why wouldnt the topic come up? Regardless, this is all irrelevant TBH. I'd much rather share your experience with getting proper work done with no "wtf" moments like the original poster, than what myself and almost everyone else I personally know have come to find as being necessary. But unfortunately that just isnt how it is, and in all honesty it requires far less effort and risk for relatively little extra money to just find a specialist shop first, as opposed to sifting thru the vast bottom of the food chain

If this guy hadnt intervened with the owner, how would his experience had ended?

I suppose you are equally opposed to huge generalizations made against other hit or miss operations like, say, Z1 for example? Not tryin to give you a hard time, just sayin, where's the good sense most of us employ in one situation in regards to the other?

"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of "liberalism", they will adopt every principle of our socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without ever knowing how it happened....
I no longer need to run on the Socialist Party ticket because the Democrat Party has now adopted our platform."
--Norman Thomas, 1944 Socialist Party Presidential Candidate

"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."
--Winston Churchill
